Picture for a Happy Monday

Abril se va habiéndonos dado una lección sobre lo acertado de los dichos y como soy una chica sensata y aprendo rápido, este próximo mes no va a haber nada ni nadie capaz de hacer que me quite el sayo.

En cualquier caso y procurando ser optimistas, propongo que nos despidamos de la lluvia y la oscuridad de abril con este precioso sol, tan lleno de luz y de serenidad que parece inevitable respirar hondo y pensar más suave y despacio al mirarlo:

Here in the north of Spain this month has been so dark, rainy and cold it feels like it has been with us for way more than thirty days. Everyone I know looks slightly unhappy, slightly depressed each time they look through the window. So as I'm still lacking the power of bringing the sun to us (I'm working on it! Stop putting pressure on me!), a portrait like this very one, so full of light, of serenity, of sun, seems to be the better option to say goodbye to April.
